CFOM Intern
Sam McHale-North joined CFOM as an intern in 2020. He is a final year BA Media student at Sheffield Hallam University. He also works as a freelance videographer and video editor. Research interests include macro and micro challenges facing investigative journalism and the wider industry, sustainable methods of financing investigative journalism, the effects of international organised crime and political corruption on journalists practice and safety as well as general innovations in journalism safety in the global north and south. He took part in the CFOM-organised summer school on ‘Addressing Global Challenges to Journalism and Press Freedom‘.
