2015 marked the launch of International Journalism Week (IJW) at the Department of Journalism Studies.IJW took place from 9-13 November and featured five days of debate and discussion on issues within the journalism industry that connected journalism educators, researchers and practitioners around the globe.
CFOM’s Annual Lecture, Working in a foreign field: developments in international newsgathering was delivered by Stuart Hughes, the Diplomatic Producer of BBC News. Other speakers included journalism safety expert Reeta Pöyhtäri, CFOM’s International Director William Horsley and CFOM Chair Professor Jackie Harrison.
