The event, organised by the Department of Journalism Studies at Sheffield University took place at ICOSS on July 31st. Rodney Pinder, Former Reuters Senior Correspondent and Director of the International News Safety Institute (INSI) and William Horsley Former BBC Foreign Correspondent and International Director of the Centre for Freedom of the Media discussed Basic Safety Principles for News Correspondents and Reporters.
