The Committee to Protect Journalists and other international groups concerned with the safety of journalists have expressed acute concern about the fate of US freelance journalist Austin Tice, who is believed to be in government custody. Japanese reporter Mika Yamamoto died in Aleppo in August. Reports also said that two media workers for the US government-funded Al-Hurra TV have been unaccounted for in the Aleppo area for more than a week. Further inforrmation is available here.
