The main celebration of World Press Freedom Day 2019 is jointly organized by UNESCO, the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the African Union Commission in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), from 1 to 3 May 2019. The main event (2-3 May) will take place at the African Union Headquarters, and pre-events will be organized by partners on 1 May.
