Two important events took place in 2009:
October 6, 2009, in Warsaw, Poland: William Horsley chairs a debate at the ODIHR annual conference on “UK perspectives on holding governments to their Freedom of Expression commitments”. Speakers include OSCE Representative on Media Freedom Miklos Haraszti.
June 8 & 9, 2009, Seminar on Mass Violence and the Media: CFOM hosted a two day research seminar ‘The End is where we start from: Media Coverage of Genocide and Mass Violence’ at the University of Sheffield.
